Are you interested in becoming a SoleMate or recruiting SoleMates’ runners for Girls on the Run of Central Illinois? Please read about our Solemates’ incentives program below. ***Please note: we have some special incentives for runners interested in participating in the Lincoln Presidential Half-Marathon as a SoleMate.***

Local SoleMates Incentives

  • If a SoleMate raises $500 or more, they will receive a SoleMates’ reusable/foldable shopping bag;
  • If a SoleMate raises $750 or more, they will receive a Happy Pace long sleeve T-shirt;
  • If a SoleMate raises $1000 or more, they  will receive a $35 Running Center gift certificate;
  • The SoleMate that raises the most by June 30 will win a refurbished Garmin training watch.

Lincoln Presidential Half-Marathon Incentives

  • Free half-marathon race entry (for first five people who’d like to run the half as a SoleMate);
  • A $150 reduced minimum fund-raising goal instead of the standard $262 minimum;
  • Ability to join the GOTR fund-raising team, led by GOTR Director, Tracy Zeman;
  • Eligibility for our local SoleMates Incentive program listed above.

Coach SoleMate Recruiter Incentives

  • Coaches who recruit one SoleMates’ runner will receive a GOTR lanyard/whistle. If the same coach recruits a second runner, they will receive a keychain in addition to their first gift. If the same coach recruits a third runner, they will receive a coach tumbler in addition to their first two gifts. If the same coach recruits five runners or more, they will receive a GOTR girl t-shirt (a cute, fitted tee) in addition to their other gifts;
  • Each time a coach recruits a SoleMates’ runner, the coaches’ name will be entered in a drawing to win a refurbished Garmin training watch. For example, if you recruit three runners, your name will be entered in the Garmin drawing three times. We’ll draw the winner at the 5k.
