GOTR St. Louis 5K

Over 4,000 girls, running buddies, and other runners celebrated at the GOTR 5K in St. Louis

Approximately 12 girls from the Girls on the Run of Central Illinois council participated in the Girls on the Run 5K hosted by Girls on the Run St. Louis.  The girls enjoyed food, hair and face painting, dancing, special cheers, and a whole lot of motivation while they ran through Forest Park.   The event saw more than 4, 000 participants of all ages cross the finish line!

She may have just turned 9 years old, but she ran the whole way – 3.1 miles!
